The RFD900A is a high-performance wireless data transmission module built around a 32-bit processor, designed to support high baud rates and airspeeds. Compact yet powerful, it offers stable and long-range communication ideal for UAVs, robotics, and remote telemetry systems.

This versatile module functions as both transmitter and receiver, eliminating the need for separate units. It integrates a USB serial interface with automatic switching between USB and UART modes, prioritizing USB for convenience.

Operating in the 902–928 MHz ISM band, the RFD900A features a low-noise amplifier (>20 dB) and low-pass filtering for clear, interference-free transmission. The output power is adjustable, reaching up to 1 W for long-distance communication. On the receiving side, a high-sensitivity LNA and SAW filter ensure strong signal reception.

With a line-of-sight range of up to 40 km (depending on antenna setup and data rate), the RFD900A supports over-the-air data rates up to 250 kbps. Dual antenna ports allow antenna diversity and customizable configurations for improved reliability.

Configuration is flexible through AT commands (local radio) and RT commands (remote radio). A built-in temperature monitor automatically adjusts duty cycles to prevent overheating.
