Do you require push rod to control the elevator then this control rod is the best. For alerons you need smaller push rods and for elevator you need longer as the rod will push from the middle of the plane servo. For best results use thin hard tube as not to bend the rods. You can use ball pen empty refill or even an cola straw.

This push rod is 1.2mm in diameter and 650mm long which should be enough for most of the planes. You can also use linkage stopper at the servo point. One can also cut this rod as per the required length.

Also these rods can be used to control the ailerons. You can make then half and make a Z shape bend and fix inside Servo arm. There are various methods by which you can achieve this.
