Flight Controller APM 2/8 No Compass

This is a quality professional flight controller for multicopter, rover, drones and fixed wing. This controller autopilot is equived with height stabilization and position stabilization. There are many modes supported for this. Like Loiter mode where the drone is at a fixed position flying. Another mode is RTL which means return to lauch. At a click of a switch the APM2.8 flight controller will return back to the home position where it started. Also autonomous missions can also be done. For these modes you need a GPS which is sold seperately. You need to to select way points and save into the flight controller. This APM 2.8 accespts upto 8 rotors. That is octacopter. It has 8 inputs for ESC. One can also connect radio telemetry for wireless transfer of data like Height, heading, speed, battery power and coordinates.

You can use mission planner for connecting the APM flght controller. Just need a mini usb cable. Firmware flashing can be done along with mission planner.

Also possible is autonomous take off and landing. Again you need a GPS. Compass is not included  in this APM flight controller. One can also attach other ardiuno and rasberry pi.

This flight controller APM has 4mb build in memory for data logging.

Please follow proper documentation while assembling a drone. Proper rotation of motors is important.
